Ashwagandha Workshop

Sunday, November 23, 2025

2-4pm in South Kona, Hawai'i Island

Tools for Stress Relief and Balance

Join us for a hands-on herbal workshop focused on Ashwagandha—one of our favorite plants for calming the mind and restoring resilience. Its root has long been used as an adaptogen, helping the body adapt to stress, support adrenal health, reduce anxiety, and improve sleep. We’ll also be working with Tulsi (Holy Basil), a beautiful complementary herb for balance and clarity.

The workshop will be taught by Sara from Earth Petal Herbals, and organized by Katrina from Aranya Solutions and Elvie from Kawelo Farms, who tinctured fresh Ashwagandha on the new moon—harvested right from the land we live on here in Hawai‘i. Together, we’ll explore these plants’ properties, learn how to harvest the roots, and create herbal medicine from them.

We love offering educational workshops like this and are delighted to align it with the energy of the new moon and eclipse—a perfect time for grounding, renewal, and intention.

Workshop Details:
• Cost: $55 (scholarships available—no one turned away for lack of funds)
• Includes: A 1oz bottle of tinctured Ashwagandha root and tea at the workshop
• Extras: Additional tinctures available for purchase (1oz $10 / 2oz $20 — great gifts for the season!)
• Location: South Kona, Hawai‘i (directions shared upon approval of registration)

Bamboo Bobis a bushcraft style bamboo builder with a background in aerospace. What began as a career in aircraft and rockets developed into a passion for and hobby using natural building techniques. Bob began designing and building with bamboo in 2001. After decades of producing small projects for himself, friends began asking to learn his techniques. Bob's passion for producing functional bamboo structures soon evolved into a history of innovation and simplicity. Using only simple tools, Bob's BAMBOO BUILT LLC "80/20" (80% hands-on/20% lecture) workshop series has become a fun way to spread knowledge and to create and provide basic shelter using the planet's most regenerative building material; Bamboo.
